New Jersey LCV Insight: This bill provides dedicated, sustained funding for New Jersey Transit’s capital and operating expenses, reducing vehicle miles traveled and driving down emissions. In addition, there is a constitutional dedication for all monies collected through the Corporate Business Tax to fund open space, so this bill will generate approximately an additional $240 million over five years for Green Acres, Blue Acres, Historic and Farmland Preservation programs.
